Matheus Bonifácio Pamplona
I am a MSc in mathematical modelling (climate science) at the University of Exeter (United Kingdom) and bachelor of meteorology at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). I seek to understand how climate affects life on Earth, be it interfering witch the seasonality of precipitation, interfering in the fire events or increasing the occurrence of extreme events, as well understanding the share of blame for human action on climate change. To deepen the knowledge on these topics, I work with remote sensing data, climate data and mathematical modelling. I love R programming, I have fun doing statistical analysis, aiming to apply different techniques to solve problems creatively and efficiently, always pressing me to expand my horizons in search of knowledge.
